Who we are
Welcome Indiana’s work is in five key areas:
Talent Retention: working with public institutions and businesses to connect to talented immigrants and prepare workers for the Hoosier job market
Economic Development: helping connect immigrant owned startups and entrepreneurs to resources to find and retain talent
Research and Policy: helping educate through white papers, demographic studies, and analyzing programs in other states; also includes policy advocacy to support skill building and retention and other quality of life initiatives in Indiana’s READI 2.0 programs.
Media: engaging in targeted media opportunities to help educate decision makers and public institutions on the research findings of Welcome Indiana and her partners
Training and Development of Immigrant Advocates: working with immigrant communities to assess their policy needs and engage them through leadership training and civic skill building.
